Coastal Eutrophication as a Driver of Salt Marsh Loss

Dr. David Johnson, Research Associate, The Ecosystems Center, Marine Biological Laboratory

David Johnson presented on research being conducted at Plum Island Estuary in Massachusetts to help explain some of the losses in ecosystem function that scientists have observed in the salt marsh. The team is exploring hypotheses related to the loss of ecosystem function as a result of nutrient enrichment.
