FISHING/SHELLFISHING

A permit is required for the taking of any shellfish from Waquoit Bay or its tributaries (available from Falmouth and Mashpee Town Halls).

Saltwater fishing information, regulations and permits are available through Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries.

Freshwater fishing information is provided by the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife. Quashnet River is open only to catch and release angling (artificial lures only).
