Story Walk® - A Day in the Salt Marsh

Stroll along the bluff to the bay shore while discovering a day in one of the most dynamic habitats on earth: the salt marsh. The story along the trail is a fun-to-read, rhyming verse about the hourly changes in the marsh as the tide comes and goes. Watch the animals that have adapted to this ever-changing environment as they hunt for food or play in the sun, and learn how the marsh grass survives even when it is covered by salt water twice a day. Story trail begins on the bluff in front of the Visitor Center.                                             The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier,Vermont and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
