A Warm Winter's Tail

River OtterFAMILY PROGRAM- A Warm Winter's Tail

Discover unique ways that animals survive in cold weather and investigate how own behaviors and adaptations help us to stay warm when the temperatures drop. We'll read the story, "A Warm Winter's Tail," about wildlife in winter, hike the trails searching for signs of animal activity and create a craft to take home. Program is best for ages 4- 10, siblings and friends welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Program will be held indoors in inclement weather, otherwise, please dress for some outdoor exploration. Meet at the Reserve Visitor Center. Program is free; no parking fee. For more information, please call (508) 457-0495 x125.
